To provide an effective Gas Operations service that meets contract and customer expectations, to include gas installation, servicing and repairs.

You would be responsible for delivering a high quality and cost effective property repairs and refurbishments, estate services, gas servicing and installation and maintenance service across the UK to both internal and external clients.
The job holder will ensure that they fully understand and fulfil their responsibilities in respect of both Health & Safety and Equality & Diversity at all times.

Key Accountabilities (All Accountabilities will be carried out in line with policies, procedures and relevant regulations and legislation):Â
- Carry out installation, fault fixing, maintenance duties, installation and commissioning of gas central heating systems, in accordance with contract and service specifications.
- Provide accurate and timely information on progress and advice that is easily understood by the customer and ensure accurate daily work records are completed.
- Respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations in accordance with contract and service specifications.
- Resolve problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed, in line with agreed processes and within contract and service specifications.
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and stocks are replenished as needed, in accordance with the agreed requisition procedures and budgets.
- Contribute, as appropriate, to special projects and change programmes in support of the Group’s objectives.

Qualifications and Attainments (or knowledge and experience at an equivalent level):
- Current Gas safe registration
- ACS (previously ACOPS) Natural Gas Domestic qualification
- Full, current driving licence

Work Experience:
- Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
- Proven experience of analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions
- Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation
- Recent experience of undertaking a similar role
- Working knowledge of the installation, servicing and maintenance of gas heating systems

- Good understanding of written and spoken English

- Ability to use and update computerised systems (including PDA) for work scheduling
