We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to carry out time and motion, and BOM studies, for a contract role in Banbury.
Duration: 4 months
Pay rate: 38 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week
NB. This role is outside IR35
Technical Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to accurately perform time and motion studies & complete Standard Work Combination Sheets
- Demonstrated ability to accurately measure and comprehensively create/update manufacturing Bill of Materials (BOMs)
- Demonstrated understanding and use of Industrial engineering practicesDemonstrated ability to interpret standard operating procedures & process specifications
- Demonstrated ability to assess, evaluate and report out on physical processes as they are performed within a full production environment.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret engineering drawings & digital product definitions
- Understanding of manufacturing concepts/processes and relevant certifications (e.g., ISO9001, AS9100, ISO14001).
- Demonstrate evidence of product specific knowledge and experience as required (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, software, IPC610/620 etc.)
- Demonstrate evidence of working within an engineering environment for a minimum of 3 years.
Professional Requirements
- Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
- Background check (minimally meet the BPS standard)
- A recognised engineering apprenticeship and/or relevant experience in the Automotive/Aerospace industry.
- ONC minimum with HNC / Degree preferred.
- Competence in collating, interrogating and interpreting data.
