Filed Service Technician

North England (North M25 Radius from Luton/Norwich/Oxford/Cambridge)

£50-60K DOE + Company Vehicle + Annual Bonus

41 Hour Week - Monday '' Thursday, 8am to 17pm, Friday 8am '' 15:30pm

 

Our client is looking for a Technician to join their team and cover the North of the M25, this would allow good support to Oxford, Luton and up to Norwich amongst other locations.

 

Must be able and willing to work in various and sometimes challenging environments. Candidate must be adaptable and open-minded, able to engage with diverse teams constructively and should face new challenges as a learning and growth opportunity always seeking positive outcomes.

 

Role responsibilities Include;

  • Provide field service support for bus transmission systems
  • Diagnose and fix problems at customer locations and other sites
  • Replace large parts or systems when needed
  • Help introduce new products to the market
  • Work with the sales team to promote product performance and share service opportunities
  • Offer technical support and advice to sales staff
  • Build and keep good relationships with customers
  • Report safety issues to Health & Safety managers
  • Work with customers to minimize vehicle downtime
  • Follow health, safety, and environmental guidelines
  • Complete jobs at company workshops when required
  • Finish paperwork and engineering reports on time
  • Manage work expenses and keep track of stock levels
  • Maintain company vehicles according to policies
  • Perform stock checks and share product knowledge with colleagues
  • Be ready to work flexible hours, including extra or unsociable hours when needed
  • Report any quality issues during work assignments
  • Stay up to date with assigned training programs
  • Always represent the company in a positive and professional manner

 

Professional Experience & Education  

Completed engineering apprenticeship as minimum, level 5 qualification (or higher)/HND/HNC, DipHE,

Background in field services and engineering Experience with electric vehicles

Excellent diagnostic capabilities

Good IT skills

Full UK driving licence
