Role Responsibilities
  • Leading a variety of complex audit assignments across multiple sectors, working closely with managers and partners
  • Preparing audit files, planning audits, and taking responsibility for fieldwork
  • Supervising and training junior team members, providing support and reviewing their work
  • Ensuring audit projects are completed to a high standard, within agreed timelines and budgets
  • Using accounting software to produce accurate reports for managers, directors, and clients
  • Preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax computations
  • Keeping up to date with industry and economic issues, maintaining relevant technical knowledge
  • Assisting with pricing services and providing input on new client quotes
  • Building productive relationships with colleagues and clients, ensuring excellent service delivery

Candidate Requirements
  • ACCA/ACA qualified or nearly qualified
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in UK audit practice, with some accounts experience required
  • Experience with Xero, Sage, Caseware, and CCH is a plus
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel, with the ability to quickly learn new software
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a positive, proactive approach
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines while delivering high-quality work
  • Enjoys working as part of a team and is self-motivated
