Cox Hinkins is an established accountancy practice based in Headington, Oxford and we are looking to recruit a hands on auditor who enjoys the challenge of being personally involved with all aspects of planning, fieldwork and completion. Working alongside the directors, you will be fully responsible for managing your portfolio of SME clients and your role will include:

Leading on a variety of audits, ensuring assignments are completed within budget whilst maintaining our high standards;

Providing training and support to other members of the team;

Preparing statutory financial statements (FRS102) and corporation tax computations;

Maintaining up to date and relevant technical knowledge; and

Building and maintaining excellent working relationships within Cox Hinkins and our client base.

We are seeking a positive and confident individual with a proactive attitude, enquiring mind and demonstrable communication skills, both written and verbal. You will also need to be a qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA) with a minimum of 5 years audit experience working within a UK practice.

As an independent practice we strive to make sure the people at our firm are at the heart of our business. We can offer hybrid and flexible working as appropriate for the role and provide an inclusive office environment with an emphasis on work/life balance and distinct lack of office politics or hierarchy. As well as a competitive salary and benefits package including free parking, there is a very clear career progression path for the successful candidate including opportunity for RI status.
