- Providing financial analysis and business insights to support decision-making
- Managing financial reporting processes and ensuring compliance with accounting standards
- Supporting the annual budget-setting process and long-term financial planning
- Working closely with academic and administrative departments to improve financial efficiency
- Assisting with year-end accounts and liaising with auditors
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or significant relevant experience
- Strong analytical and financial reporting skills
- The ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- A proactive and solution-focused approach
- Experience working in a higher education, charity, or public sector setting (desirable but not essential)
