We are working with one of the top accountancy firms in the UK, with multiple offices across Central and Southern England, and they are expanding fast! As part of our exciting growth plans, they are offering a fantastic opportunity for an Senior Accountant or Accounts Semi Senior to join their Oxford Accounts team. This is a permanent, full-time role offering hybrid and flexible working options to suit your lifestyle. The salary ranges from £26,000-£47,000 per annum. The Role:
  • Building strong, lasting client relationships
  • Handling a range of complex accounts assignments across multiple sectors
  • Working with accounting software like CCH, Sage, and Xero
  • Developing your technical and commercial expertise
  • Delivering high-standard assignments on time and within budget
  • Preparing statutory and management accounts for sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships
  • Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations
  • Managing your own workload efficiently while exceeding client expectations
  • Supervising, training, and assisting junior team members
  • Collaborating with colleagues and partners across the business

About You:To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be:
  • ACCA/ACA qualified or finalist with at least 3 years of UK practice experience
  • Experienced with FRS102 1A (essential)
  • Ideally experienced with SRAs, international, consolidated, or charity accounts
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication and client management skills
  • Detail-oriented, with strong IT skills, especially in Excel
  • A positive, confident team player with a proactive attitude
  • Skilled at managing deadlines and delivering high-quality work
  • Passionate about developing junior team members
