Reed Finance are working with a prestigious Oxford College to help them recruit a Systems Accountant on a 12 month fixed term basis. This is required to enhance and integrate its cloud-based finance system, driving efficiency and providing valuable insights for the organisation. The role will also support the Financial Controller and the wider finance team with finance duties.
Description
- Develop reporting and system processes, including automated management accounts, dashboards, and investment reports in Sage Cloud.
- Support annual budget preparation, long-term financial forecasting, and project appraisals and how they work within Sage Cloud
- Support financial year-end processes, reconcile accounts, and assist in producing statutory accounts.
- Support with managing endowment and investment reporting, including monthly valuations and yield analysis.
- Provide training to staff on the new system and support other finance team areas during absences.
To be considered for this role you will be a qualified accountant with broad accounting experience and some demonstrable experience implementing or supporting the implementation of a finance system in a small team.
This is a 12 month contract opportunity that may be extended. The salary available is up to £50k plus strong additional benefits including generous holidays and pension scheme.
This is a mainly office based role and as it based in central Oxford there is no parking onsite.
