Role responsibilities
  • Leading the Corporate Tax Team, ensuring high technical standards and excellent client service
  • Managing a portfolio of large owner-managed businesses and SMEs across multiple sectors
  • Acting as the day-to-day lead for the corporate tax team, overseeing workflows and ensuring compliance deadlines are met
  • Providing expert tax advisory services, identifying opportunities for tax efficiencies and business structuring
  • Overseeing the compliance team, ensuring all corporate tax obligations are met accurately and efficiently
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a key advisor on complex tax matters
  • Driving business development initiatives, expanding the firm’s tax service offering and attracting new clients
  • Staying up to date with changes in tax legislation and ensuring the firm remains compliant and proactive in tax planning strategies
  • Collaborating with other departments to provide integrated and comprehensive client solutions

Candidate requirements
  • ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified with extensive experience in corporate tax advisory and compliance
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop a large tax team
  • Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax legislation and its application to OMBs and SMEs
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a client-focused approach
  • Commercially minded, with a track record of identifying and driving business development opportunities
