A long-established and respected Oxford-based accountancy practice is seeking a Corporate Tax Senior to join their growing tax team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in corporate tax compliance and advisory work who’s ready to take ownership of a varied portfolio of corporate clients.

Working closely with managers and partners, you’ll manage your own portfolio of corporate tax clients, supporting both compliance and advisory work. You’ll also contribute to the development of junior staff and play an active role in delivering excellent client service.

• Preparing and reviewing corporation tax returns and computations
• Managing a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, SMEs and larger corporate clients
• Assisting with advisory projects including group restructuring, R&D claims, capital allowances and share schemes
• Supporting the delivery of tax planning strategies
• Liaising directly with clients and HMRC
• Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation
• Reviewing work of junior team members and supporting their development

• ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified (or qualified by experience)
• Proven experience in a corporate tax role within a UK accountancy practice
• Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable managing a varied workload and meeting deadlines
• A genuine interest in corporate tax and a desire to stay at the forefront of industry developments

• £38,000 to £48,000 per annum
