One of our most prestigious Clients is seeking an expert ACCA qualified (or equivalent) Finance professional to join them on an urgent temporary basis.
This is a varied and fast paced role.
Are you highly organised, with a dedicated accounting background and have experience in a multi-layer, matrix organisation?
Do you have proven skills in managing company balance sheets, along with extensive experience in reconciliations?
If so, this full-time temporary assignment, based in Central Oxford, could be perfect for you!
Please note, this is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis. This role will start quickly, so sadly candidates with a lengthy notice period cannot be considered.
Temporary Reconciliations Accountant Responsibilities
- Effective balance sheet control through monthly review of reconciliations
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies identified during reconciliations
- Running the month end process
- General Ledger
- Research accounts
- Production of year end information
- Implementation of financial procedures
- Assisting with internal and external audits
- Support with ongoing projects within the finance team

Temporary Reconciliations Requirements
- Dedicated accounting background
- ACCA qualified or equivalent
- Knowledge of SAP Concur
- Proven skills within General Ledger and reconciliations balance sheet management
- Strong IT user, in particular the ability to use MS Excel to an advanced standard to analyse and manipulate data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to understand complex regulations and translate them into day to day working
- Familiarity with financial and research administration

Our client is based in Oxford (OX1). There is no parking on site, so you should plan to commute without a car.
