EA to Head Teacher , Oxford - private school - office based

Global CTS are working with a well known private school in Oxford who are recruiting for an individual to provide a personal and confidential EA, and Administrative support service for the Headteacher. The successful individual will be respectful to the ethos of the school and be a good team player.

  • Experience of working in a busy administration position with the ability to create and manage a complex diary
  • Experience in project support services supporting a multi-discipline office/school environment
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft packages 
  • Advanced knowledge of Word (including mail merge), Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Ability to take accurate minutes
  • Highly organised, efficient and accurate with excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain electronic filing systems
  • Respond to in person and telephone enquiries
  • Produce documents accurately and to deadlines using Microsoft Packages
  • Organise meetings and other events involving the Headteacher
  • Provide a professional advice and administration service to the Headteacher on policies, practices and procedures
  • Ensure the Headteacher is well briefed and able to make efficient and effective responses to enquiries, requests or information
  • Organise a system for annual review and approval of all policies
  • Deal with complaints as required
  • Read and action all email correspondence to the Headteacher
  • Support the school's admissions and marketing activities
