A leading aviation company is seeking a skilled and experienced B1 Licensed Engineer to join its team at Oxford Airport, the UK's civil helicopter hub. The company offers expertise in helicopter sales, custom completions, maintenance, and spares support, with in-house capabilities in design, flight-testing, certification, technical support, and training for both civil and military applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by Maintenance Supervisors.
  • Certify maintenance work on various rotorcraft, ensuring compliance with CAA regulations, including Part 145 and Part M.
  • Conduct maintenance on airframe, power plant, and mechanical/electrical systems.
  • Replace avionic line replaceable units and perform simple tests to verify their serviceability.
  • Supervise maintenance fitters and certify their work.
  • Assist in hangar operations, including aircraft movement and housekeeping duties.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Thorough knowledge of engine and airframe systems, with experience using specialized test equipment.
  • Ability to lead a team and work to high standards, ensuring the safe operation of aircraft.
  • Working knowledge of UK CAA regulations, particularly Part 145 and UK ANO.
  • Flexibility to meet company and customer needs.

Qualifications:

  • Part 66 B1.3 Licence (Turbine Rotorcraft) is essential.
  • Candidates without a licence but with extensive aircraft maintenance experience and actively pursuing a licence will be considered.
  • Experience in a rotary environment is desirable; type training will be provided for suitable candidates.

Additional Requirements:

  • DBS Security Clearance and eligibility for SC clearance are required.
  • Compliance with ITAR and Export Compliance Regulations is mandatory
