Premier Engineering is working with a leading engineering company in Oxfordshire that is looking to expand its team by hiring an Internal Sales Engineer. This role is ideal for a technically minded professional with experience in engineering sales, looking to support customers and drive business growth from within the office.

The Internal Sales Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
  • A background in mechanical engineering (HNC, HND, BEng, or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in an internal sales, technical support, or applications engineering role.
  • Strong understanding of engineering products, components, or manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to sales and customer support.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple customer accounts.
The Internal Sales Engineer role will involve:
  • Handling inbound sales inquiries and providing technical support to customers.
  • Preparing quotations, proposals, and pricing for clients.
  • Identifying customer needs and recommending suitable engineering solutions.
  • Managing and maintaining relationships with existing customers.
