Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the management and delivery of mechanical packages within water sector projects
  • Ensuring compliance with NEC contracts and maintaining high standards of project documentation
  • Coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure seamless project progression and delivery
  • Monitoring project progress, identifying issues, and implementing effective solutions
  • Participating in risk assessments and ensuring effective risk management
  • Supervising on-site activities and ensuring adherence to safety standards (SMSTS)
  • Providing technical support and guidance to team members
  • Facilitating effective communication between all project participants
  • Job Requirements:
  • Experience in mechanical engineering, particularly within the water sector
  • Thorough understanding of NEC contract principles
  • Proven experience in non-infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations (SMSTS certification)
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Relevant engineering qualifications and certifications
