Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the management and delivery of mechanical packages within water sector projects
- Ensuring compliance with NEC contracts and maintaining high standards of project documentation
- Coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure seamless project progression and delivery
- Monitoring project progress, identifying issues, and implementing effective solutions
- Participating in risk assessments and ensuring effective risk management
- Supervising on-site activities and ensuring adherence to safety standards (SMSTS)
- Providing technical support and guidance to team members
- Facilitating effective communication between all project participants
- Job Requirements:
- Experience in mechanical engineering, particularly within the water sector
- Thorough understanding of NEC contract principles
- Proven experience in non-infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations (SMSTS certification)
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Relevant engineering qualifications and certifications
