Senior Product Safety Engineer

Location: Oxfordshire Contract Type: Full-time, PermanentHours: 40 hours per week, hybrid working 

We are seeking a Senior Product Safety Engineer to join our expanding Product Safety & Compliance team. You will lead the certification and compliance efforts to ensure the safe, sustainable, and regulatory-compliant delivery of innovative products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop legislative requirements to meet programme targets.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure product certification and type-approval.
  • Conduct compliance studies and prepare certification applications.
  • Lead market homologation and Conformity of Production audits.
  • Assist with business development, including feasibility studies and client meetings.
What We’re Looking For
  • Engineering qualification in a STEM subject (HND, Bachelor’s/Master’s, or Apprenticeship).
  • Experience in product certification (on-highway, off-highway, or marine sectors).
  • Strong understanding of design, manufacture, and compliance processes.
  • Familiarity with energy storage or power conversion products is a plus.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and committed to safety and sustainability.
