Systems Design Engineer

£52,000

Oxfordshire (Hybrid)

Monday Friday 37hrs per week.

Job Role;
Working closely with existing and potential customers, the Systems Design Engineer will carry out analysis and interpretation of requirements. They will convert this analysis into concept drawings and produce technical documentation, pricing, etc. to support the concept. They will need to engage with colleagues, peers and customers as necessary to establish and prove the concept.

Responsibilities;

  • Validation of customer requirements
  • Ensure project suitability
  • Feedback detailed information in relation to projects accepted or declined
  • Data analysis and interpretation
  • Conceptualise solutions
  • 2D and 3D drawings
  • Tender management of suppliers
  • Issue drawings, specifications and program to preferred suppliers
  • Stakeholder coordination and management
  • Provide summary of costs, program, specification
  • Tender documentation and budget pricing
  • Liaising and working with the customers and internal teams to provide solutions
  • Customer presentations and workshops

Experience Required;

  • HNC / Degree in Engineering
  • Formal CAD qualification or minimum 3 years CAD operator experience
  • Confident communicator with excellent presentation skills
  • Computer literate, confident using all Microsoft Packages
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage workload
