Overview:

RF Embedded Systems Engineer needed to join dedicated and passionate team at the forefront of antenna and RF system design, and offering an exciting opportunity to work with next-generation technology in a fast-growing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define system-level and sub-system requirements, including link budgets, G/T, and EIRP.
  • Qualify and specify system components, including telecom 4G/5G radios, satcom LNAs, and BUCs.
  • Collaborate with antenna and mechanical engineering teams to develop embedded software solutions for network acquisition, tracking, and antenna control.
  • Oversee the entire product development lifecycle: requirements definition, software architecture, coding, system integration, testing, debugging, and optimization.
  • Prepare technical documentation for design, analysis, integration, and testing.
  • Provide technical expertise for business development and customer proposal preparation.
  • Interpret and negotiate technical requirements with customers, defining solutions and trade-offs.
  • Manage schedules, resources, and risks to ensure quality, on-time, and on-budget delivery.

What We’re Looking For:

  • PhD or BSc in Physics, Electronic Engineering, or relevant
  • Strong understanding of RF, radio, and antenna theory and engineering principles.
  • Proven experience in RF, radio, and antenna product design.
  • Advanced skills in embedded software development, preferably within the telecom industry.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ (knowledge of Python, Java, or scripting languages is a plus).
  • Experience with microcontrollers (e.g., ARM Cortex, PIC, AVR) and DSPs.
  • Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and multithreading.
  • Skilled in debugging tools such as JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
  • Hands-on experience with communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet).
  • Knowledge of telecom, satcom, and tracking antennas.
  • Familiarity with PCB schematics, wireless communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Zigbee, Wi-Fi), and low-level hardware integration.
