Alecto Recruitment Ltd currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Gas Qualified Engineer to join a leading and well-established client of ours with over 20 years' experience within the Gas, Heating and Mechanical Services industry.

We are looking for someone to join on a full-time, fully employed basis and you'll be responsible for covering the Oxfordshire area, therefore will need to live local to the area.

Our client cover all areas of Domestic Gas, Commercial Gas, LPG, Oil and their customers can include private domestic properties, landlords, large manor houses, schools etc.

Job Role:

• Joining the service division, you'll be responsible for service, repair and breakdown work on a range of domestic gas, boiler and heating systems, as well as oil boiler / OFTEC work.
• Standard working week, 8am till 5pm.
• Be part of an on-call rota system, which is 1 week in 7 (standby rate and overtime rates apply).

Skills Required:

• Domestic ACS gas tickets are essential such as; CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1 etc.
• You'll need to hold an extensive domestic gas / heating engineer background.
• Ideally relevant domestic plumbing and heating background, ideally NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent.
• OFTEC, or oil boiler experience is also desirable.

Salary/Package:

• 42k-45k Basic Salary (depending on experience)
• Overtime and call out available
• Company Van and Fuel provided
• Private Healthcare after probation
• Tools supplied
• 28 days holiday
