Are you an experienced Gas Detection Field Service Engineer within the Gas Detection industry?

Or perhaps you are currently a field service engineer working with Fire Alarms, Security, CCTV, Telecoms or instrumentation, and are now looking for a change?

If so this could be great opportunity to get your foot in the door, working for a leading distributor of fixed gas detection systems offering full training and strong career prospects.

The role:

I'm currently recruiting on behalf a leading manufacturer of fixed gas detection systems, who is looking for a talented individual to join their team in the South of the UK.

Full training is on offer for someone with transferable skills, although you must have experience of working with electrical/electronic equipment in a field service capacity, and happy travelling across the South.

As a Gas Detection Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, commissioning, and repairing a variety of gas detection alarms on industrial client sites, mostly within colleges, university labs, boiler rooms and similar.

You will also be responsible for fault finding and maintenance, as well as providing client training. You must have excellent communication skills and be happy dealing with clients at all levels.

The ideal candidate will have a valid UK driving license, an electrical-based background, and be an experienced field service engineer based in the South.

Past experience calibrating gas detection products is desirable, although candidate with experience of equipment within a similar industry such fire alarms, security alarms, CCTV, access control, telecoms or instrumentation will be considered.
