IT Resilience Manager - £75,000

I am working with a growing client operating within the financial services industry who are looking for an IT Resilience Manager to join and take responsibility for all IT Resilience policies and IT Disaster Recovery processes. You will be joining an established IT division where you will work closely with a number of experienced and dedicated colleagues. They have offices across Europe, however you will work on a largely remote basis with occasional travel to the global HQ in Oxfordshire.

In this role you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a full Performance Measurement suite and work closely with business stakeholders to promote this internally. You will ensure that the business is secure, up to date and all processes are correctly documented. A large priority for the position will to be take responsibility for the IT Disaster Recovery processes to ensure colleagues across the business have access to critical systems at all times.

Some of the responsibilities for the role include

  • Develop and implement tech resilience strategies
  • Take ownership of IT Disaster Recovery processes, plans and playbooks
  • Be internal SME for all IT resilience best practice
  • Be responsible for the completion of rigorous DR testing strategies
  • Complete all documentation and make sure this is reviewed regularly and action points are carried out

To be successful in this role you will have.

  • Experience in IT resilience management position
  • Experience documenting, designed and implementing policies, frameworks and controls
  • Experience designing and implementation IT Disaster Recovery plans for multiple IT Systems
  • Knowledge of network architecture, IT infrastructure and database management systems
  • Experience of both on-premise and cloud-based IT Systems

This is largely a remote role, with one visit per month to the company HQ in Oxfordshire. You may also be required to visit other European offices a couple of times per year. My client are offering a salary of up to £75,000 per annum plus benefits that including car allowance, pension schemes and healthcare benefits.
