Sales and Marketing Manager

We’re looking for a Sales and Marketing Manager to step into a company based in the hotel technology sector.

Working for this small business you’ll be instrumental in developing and maintaining new and existing relationships with (largely) TMC’s to showcase your software and products.

You’ll love the opportunities this role brings to travel the country (and even further afield!), visiting clients and finding new ways to increase revenue for the hotels in your client base.

Sales and Marketing Manager - what are we looking for?

  • This is a position that’s suitable for someone with some experience within hotel corporate sales/business travel sales that’s looking to take a step up. (the role isn’t a senior position and doesn’t have any direct reports).
  • You’ll need to be confident in attending face to face meetings as our client believes in the power of in person connection!
  • Knowledge of Sabre hospitality solutions or a GDS and how it works within hotel bookings.
  • A consultative sales approach, this is not a hard sell but instead focuses heavily on engaging interest, understanding needs and being passionate about what you do.
  • A great understanding of corporate travel and hotels.
  • Client development and relationship management skills
  • Some knowledge of writing newsletters/handling Mailchimp would be desirable.

Sales and Marketing Manager - package info:

  • This is a set salaried role, it is not commission based and the salary is in line with a role at this level.
  • You can be based anywhere in the UK but you must be able/willing to travel regularly so strong transport links are hugely beneficial. (they do have an office in the South West for those local)
  • 22 days annual leave plus UK bank holidays and a day off for your birthday.
  • A relaxed and welcoming culture with a hugely supportive manager.
