Our client, is currently seeking a Senior Planning Officer to join their dedicated team in Oxfordshire. This is an opportunity to partake in both small commercial and large development projects within a flexible, hybrid working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough planning assessments for a range of development proposals
- Preparing and contributing to detailed planning reports
- Engaging with stakeholders and clients to ensure successful planning outcomes
- Collaborating with internal and external teams on environmental and policy studies
- Providing guidance and advice on planning matters to clients and colleagues
- Maintaining and enhancing client relationships through exceptional service
Job Requirements:
- An RTPI-accredited planning qualification
- Either holding or working towards chartered membership of the RTPI
- Post-qualification planning experience in town planning
- Experience in managing environmental and planning aspects of development projects
- Ability to manage competing demands and prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong report writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Confident in developing client relationships and contributing to the company's success
