Our client, is currently seeking a Senior Planning Officer to join their dedicated team in Oxfordshire. This is an opportunity to partake in both small commercial and large development projects within a flexible, hybrid working environment.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough planning assessments for a range of development proposals
  • Preparing and contributing to detailed planning reports
  • Engaging with stakeholders and clients to ensure successful planning outcomes
  • Collaborating with internal and external teams on environmental and policy studies
  • Providing guidance and advice on planning matters to clients and colleagues
  • Maintaining and enhancing client relationships through exceptional service


Job Requirements:

  • An RTPI-accredited planning qualification
  • Either holding or working towards chartered membership of the RTPI
  • Post-qualification planning experience in town planning
  • Experience in managing environmental and planning aspects of development projects
  • Ability to manage competing demands and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Strong report writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Confident in developing client relationships and contributing to the company's success
