Truck Sales Executive

Our client, a top brand commercial vehicle dealership, is seeking a Truck Sales Executive to join their team.

The ideal candidate will be a target-driven individual, you understand the necessity of a proactive approach to sales, maintaining up to date CRM and building effective working relationships with customers, suppliers, the manufacturer and colleagues across the business.

Role: Truck Sales Executive

Salary: £40,000 ( basic) - £120,000 (OTE) per annum

Hours: Mon - Fri, 09:00am - 17:30pm. Flexibility required where necessary.

Location: Oxford

Key Responsibilities of Truck Sales Executive:

  • Manage and develop customer-base to meet individual and team sales targets, through sales prospecting, marketing, regular customer reviews and other necessary actions.
  • Provide accurate and financially sound quotations to customers, taking into consideration their specific requirements.
  • Identify and develop potential sales opportunities with new and existing customers, building the appropriate specifications and package offers.
  • Work with other teams across the business, including sales admin, aftersales, PDI and F&I, to ensure a smooth sales process right through to vehicle handover.
  • Clearly communicate with wider business areas so that all appropriate stakeholders are updated appropriately, as required.
  • Attend regular truck sales team meetings to ensure you are aware of business updates, and to provide WIP details to the Head of Truck Sales.
  • To attend and support customer and company events as and when required, this may include events and meetings outside normal working hours.

Requirements for Truck Sales Execuitve:

  • You have significant experience as a truck sales executive.
  • You pride yourself on building exceptional customer relationships by building connections with potential clients.
  • A resilient person is someone who has strong coping skills and can draw on these when life presents challenges.
  • Are results focused - drive, energy and passion, with an appetite for new challenges.
  • You are a brilliant negotiator who can build strong relationships and close deals with the client.
