Commissioning Engineer - Wastewater

Thames Valley

6month rolling contract

500/550 Per day

We are seeking a Commissioning Engineer to work within our Wastewater Asset Assurance Programme (WAAP). You will collaborate with the project team to ensure that all MEICA and process commissioning activities are planned and delivered to the appropriate standards throughout the project life cycle, in line with the accepted commissioning plan and inspection and test plans (ITPs).

Your Day To Day Will Include:

  • Owning and ensuring commissioning documentation is completed and available on the Common Data Environment, on a continuous basis, to demonstrate that testing requirements are fulfilled. This includes FAT, SAT, outage management plans, and ITPs.
  • Developing the Design Commissioning Plan to suit the actual project implementation in collaboration with the Client commissioning representatives.
  • Reviewing and signing off project ITPs, ensuring that they are managed through the common data environment.
  • Working with the supply chain onsite to fault find as and where required, ensuring activities are completed safely and in line with the project program.
  • Leading the reliability and performance testing stage of the project, including the production and acceptance of a report highlighting compliance with the Client's objectives.

What are we looking for?

This role of Commissioning Engineer is ideal for you if you have:

  • Experience in a similar Commissioning role in Mechanical and Electrical plant, within the Water Industry
  • BEng/ONC/HNC/BTEC qualified Mechanical or Electrical engineer
  • Competent judgement and problem-solving skills
  • Good working knowledge of sewage and water treatment processes, systems, and typical M&E plant/equipment.
