A family-owned contractor, known for its commitment to employee progression are looking for a dedicated Electrical PM to join their team in Canary Wharf with projects around Central London too.
This role offers the chance to work on commercial and data hall builds, with project values ranging from £100,000 to £1,000,000. The contractor prides itself on having a supportive and progressive work environment with a lot of their senior staff being there for 5 years plus.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing electrical projects, particularly within commercial and data hall environments. Strong leadership skills are essential, as you will be responsible for overseeing project teams, making sure that all work is completed to the highest standards and within specified timeframes. Your ability to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members will be crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of each project.
Key responsibilities include
- Managing electrical projects from inception to completion
- Coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Monitoring project budgets and schedules
- Conducting regular site inspections and progress reports
Essential skills and experience
- Extensive experience in electrical project management
- Strong understanding of commercial and data hall builds
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong client facing, (the contractor are looking to win more work off of this client as time goes by)
- Proficiency in project management software
- Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field
