A well established earth and water resources consultancy based near to Oxford are seeking a driven and experienced geotechnical engineer to join the expanding team. With a range of services and projects to work on and a team of specialists to support you, his consultancy are fully equipped to help you develop your skills and progress in your career.

The Geotechnical Engineer selected will be provided with:

This Geotechnical Engineer position requires focussed work on a variety of projects. You'll be carrying out borehole logging, groundwater and gas monitoring, factual and interpretive report writing, desktop studies, designing foundations, slope stability and retaining walls and mentoring junior team members.

The successful Geotechnical Engineer will:

  • Have a degree in geoscience, engineering geology, geotechnical or civil engineering or environmental engineering (or a similar/relevant subject).
  • Have experience as a geotechnical engineer/engineering geologist.
  • Have exceptional communication skills, ideally with experience leading a team and/or supervising junior members.
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence.
  • Be commutable to the Oxford area.
  • Have a full right to work in the UK.
