We have a consistently growing and established Water Hygiene / Legionella management provider in the South of England, who are now seeking to take on a Legionella Risk Assessor / Water Hygiene Engineer. Covering Commercial, Healthcare and Educational sites you will be working in line with ACoP L8 / HSG 274 guidelines to carry out legionella risk assessments on hot and cold-water systems, providing legionella report and legionella management plans ensuring to implement preventive measures. You will also be responsible for carrying out legionella sampling, temperature monitoring, TMV servicing and flushing of little used outlets.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Bicester, Whitney, Abington, High Wycombe, Brackley, Milton Keynes, Bletchley, Luton, Hemel Hempstead, Slough, Stevenage, St Albans, Watford, Hertford, Bishop's Stortford.

Experience & Qualifications:
" Must hold the City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessment.
" Experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor and / or Water Hygiene Engineer for a reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella management outfit.
" Able to demonstrate excellent practical knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Excellent communication skills.
" Good IT skills, able to produce schematic drawings.
" Organising work schedule in line with client requirements, ensuring tasks are completed in line with agreed timeframes.

The Role:
" Undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments on both hot and cold-water systems.
" Using industry relevant systems to produce detailed and site-specific schematic drawings.
" Legionella sampling & temperature monitoring.
" TMV servicing and failsafe testing.
" Showerhead cleans and descales.
" Flushing of little used outlets.
" CWST cleans and disinfections.
" Ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 & site-specific schematic drawings.
" Providing clients with detailed legionella reports based on site findings.
" Creating legionella management reports for clients, ensuring clients are aware of actions required.
" Updating onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
