Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager (M&E Experience Essential)

Our client, a prominent figure in the construction and engineering industry, is looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager with a strong background in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) projects. This is a permanent, site-based position in Oxford, offering a competitive salary of up to £75,000.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee all mechanical aspects of M&E projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.
- Lead and coordinate project teams, including contractors, engineers, and site personnel, to ensure seamless communication and project delivery.
- Develop project schedules, forecasts, and financial reports, keeping all stakeholders updated on progress and any emerging risks.
- Ensure site health and safety compliance, adhering to relevant regulations and best practices.
- Engage with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to offer technical advice and swiftly resolve any project-related challenges.
- Supervise the installation and testing of all M&E systems to ensure they meet design specifications and quality benchmarks.
- Manage procurement processes and material logistics, ensuring timely delivery of necessary resources to the site.
- Proven experience in managing M&E projects within the mechanical engineering or construction industries.
- In-depth understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, pipework, and their electrical integrations.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines.
- Effective leadership and communication skills, capable of motivating and managing teams to achieve project success.
- Proficiency in project management software and industry-related tools.
- A valid CSCS card and SMSTS certification are highly desirable.
