We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a Tier 1 contractor, working on a portfolio of exciting projects within the aviation sector. The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be based out of our Oxford office, providing a fantastic opportunity to contribute to high-profile and impactful aviation projects.

About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor:

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a critical role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of a diverse portfolio of aviation sector projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a proven track record to deliver excellence within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities for Senior Quantity Surveyor:

  • Overseeing project budgets, costs, and forecasts across a portfolio of aviation projects
  • Administering contracts, ensuring compliance with NEC and other relevant frameworks
  • Collaborating with project teams to deliver cost-effective and timely solutions
  • Preparing and negotiating final accounts
  • Conducting site visits to monitor progress and ensure accurate cost control
  • Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team where required

Requirements for Senior Quantity Surveyor:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the aviation or civils sector
  • Strong understanding of NEC contracts and contract administration
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with the project team
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality results within set deadlines
