We are seeking a Fire & Security Service Engineer to join our team, working across the OX (Oxford), SN (Swindon), and HP (High Wycombe) postcode areas. This role is with a leading fire and security systems company dedicated to protecting lives and property by providing top-notch service and support. Key Responsibilities:

• Servicing, maintaining, and repairing fire and security systems including fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
• Responding to and resolving service calls efficiently to ensure that systems are in full working order.
• Conducting fault-finding and rectification work on all types of fire and security systems.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including BS5839.
• Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Ensuring health and safety protocols are followed on-site.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Fire & Security Engineer, with solid knowledge of fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV, and access control systems.
• Industry-relevant qualifications such as FIA Units, BAFE certification, or equivalent are essential.
• Full UK driving license.
• Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding abilities.
• Strong understanding of BS5839 regulations and other relevant standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with brands such as Gent, Advanced, or Apollo fire systems.
• Knowledge of IP-based CCTV systems.
• Familiarity with networked security systems and software.
