Senior Building Surveyor - A vibrant team offering grade listed projects, only a bike ride away!

A forward-thinking and supportive consultancy based in central Oxford, is now seeking a commericially minded Senior Building Surveyor to join their team of 13.

This is an opportunity for a rounded Senior Building Surveyor who is keen to work on a varied, grade listed project portfolio, predominantly located in the centre of Oxford, with most of the Surveyors riding their bikes to and from schemes.

Role and responsibilities

The successful Senior Building Surveyor will work on a diverse and prestigious client portfolio, including Oxford University, Oxford City Council public buildings, the NHS, high-value private residential properties, laboratories, and grade-listed buildings.

Your role as the chosen Senior Building Surveyor will be to lead on projects, carry out contract administration, as well as a range of professional instructions too.

Person specification

This role will suit a capable and self-sufficient individual, with a supportive and collaborative attitude.

  • MRICS qualified (Not essential)
  • RICS accredited degree (Essential)
  • Extensive experience in building surveying within a consultancy environment
  • Technically astute, with a bias towards project delivery
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal with client facing ability
