The Role

This is an excellent Senior Imaging Scientist role, working for a company with a growing reputation in their field. The Senior Imaging Scientist  will use knowledge gained from a PhD in a relevant field such as MR Physics, Neuroimaging or similar, as well as a sound understanding of diffusion MRI to refine and prioritise ideas from research, to lead on new developments in my client's models and tools.

The Senior Imaging Scientist  will contribute to a supportive team environment, which rewards hard work and innovative thinking. The current work pattern in place is full-time on-site in the Oxford-based office, and my client is able to provide sponsorship if required.

What’s Required?

The Ideal candidate for the role will have some of the following:

  • A PhD in a relevant field such a MR Physics, Neuroimaging or similar
  • A good understanding of diffusion MRI.
  • Experience of statistical software packages such as SPSS, Stata or R
  • Experience with neuroimaging and corresponding packages such as FSL, SPM, FreeSurfer
  • Any experience with Microstructural modelling for diffusion MRI, experience in the area of cerebral cortex or Post-mortem MRI / MRI of animal models would also be advantageous
