Client: My client are a specialist MEP Contractor who have been operating for in excess of 60 years. They are an international contractor with a turnover in excess of 50m per annum.

Following the recent appointment of a standout Operations Director (ex Dornan Engineering) my client has seen a significant period of growth within the healthcare, education and commercial sectors. The business boasts an enviable track record and they have made significant investment in London over the last 5 years. They have a full order book for this and next year.

Role: Electrical Construction Manager - 70,000 - 75,000 + Package

The successful candidate will be delivering a Student Accommodation for Oxford University. The job is on site and is due to run until 2026. It is a 6.5m M&E package and the main contractor is SDC.

Role/Responsibilities:

  • Design Review (scope gaps / clashes)
  • Health & Safety (RAMS)
  • Technical Submissions
  • Preparation/issuing all RFI
  • Sub-contractor coordination
  • Management of commissioning stages
  • Liaising with client team, main contractor and sub-contractors
  • Progress meetings with sub-contractors, professional teams and client
  • Weekly site and Progress meetings

The ideal candidate:

  • Progressed from a tools background and have good technical knowledge of Mechanical services.
  • Experience working in the commercial sector
  • Experience managing projects to a minimum of 2M within your own discipline
  • Ideally the candidate will have subcontracted to main contractors such as Wates, McLaren, Lendlease, MACE etc.
