A well-established Construction Consultancy with a strong heritage in the Education and Healthcare sectors is seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Project Manager to join their team in Oxford.

The firm is deeply involved in unique and rewarding projects across University campuses and is actively engaged in supporting the NHS and healthcare system through strategic improvements and innovative solutions.

The Construction Project Manager Role

As a Construction Project Manager in this dynamic firm, you will be immersed in projects that cross recognised construction sectors, making each project distinct and engaging. You will play a crucial role in addressing the health needs of the population and contributing to the development of whole system masterplans aimed at improving health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in project set up and governance processes.
  • Monitor and guide project processes.
  • Conduct due diligence and quality assurance.
  • Oversee financial monitoring and progress reporting.
  • Conduct project audits and post-project evaluations.
  • Work collaboratively to implement solutions focused on improving healthcare services.

The Construction Project Manager

  • BSc/MSc in Construction, Project Management, Building Surveying, or an equivalent field.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in a Construction Consultancy environment.
  • Ideally MRICS, MAPM, or MCIOB qualified.
  • Experience in Higher Education and/or Healthcare projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
