You will be providing comprehensive and flexible administrative support to a small and growing specialist legal practice.
Duties will include
- Preparing invoices
- Credit control
- Working with the accounts system (Xero) to upload and update invoices and bills
- File organisation using Microsoft Office
- Dealing as requested with the mail, telephone calls and e-mail enquiries
- Organising course and conference attendance
- Diary management and maintaining databases
- You may also be required to prepare and photocopy legal bundles in support of our legal teams.
It is essential that you have good literacy and numeric skills with the ability to produce accurate and precise work. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and will be a good communicator with good customer service skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines, handle diverse information and manage a substantial workload. You will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and adobe pro applications with the ability to manipulate data from a variety of sources and databases. You will also have knowledge of, or be willing to learn, basic Xero skills as necessary for uploading and updating data and information. You will also be willing to learn to manage a data base of trade marks and designs which will involve uploading and updating data and information and generating reports.
This role is currently part time working 17.5 hours a week covering maternity cover.
Whilst we are currently looking for someone who wishes to work on a flexible basis, there is potential for the role to become a permanent role with increased paralegal responsibilities.

You will also manage the firm's diary. You may also be required to prepare and photocopy legal bundles in support of our legal teams.
