Job Advert - Design Engineer
Location: Oxfordshire
Salary Range: 33,000 - 43,000 per annum

I am currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Design Engineer to join our team in Oxfordshire. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and improving our product designs using CAD software and 3D modeling techniques. Required:
  • Strong proficiency in CAD software (Creo, ProE and Windchill PDM)
  • Knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering
  • Experience in product design and development
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
Key responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand design requirements
  • Create detailed 2D and 3D models, prototypes, and technical drawings
  • Conduct feasibility studies and perform analysis to ensure design feasibility and functionality
  • Identify and propose innovative design solutions to enhance product performance
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to optimize product manufacturability
  • Perform regular design reviews and implement necessary improvements
