- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
- Salary: 85 to 95 per day

As a Autism Teaching Assistant, work with children on the Autism Spectrum, many with cerebral palsy and high-level learning needs, in a 1:1 staff-to-child ratio setting. As an assistant, you'll provide academic, emotional, and personal care support, including helping with communication, social skills, self-regulation, and fine motor skills. You will also assist with managing challenging behaviour and promoting positive decision-making.

- Communication skills - An ability to engage with children, adapt to their needs, and communicate effectively.
- Patience and resilience - You'll need a calm and understanding approach when working with children who may present with challenging behaviours or need additional support in day-to-day activities.
- Personal care - Some students may require assistance with personal care tasks, so a nurturing and compassionate attitude is essential.
- Passion for SEN - A deep commitment to helping Oxford children with autism and complex needs, creating a safe and supportive learning environment.
