Oxford - KS1/KS2

Your Oxford Primary school is seeking a Classroom Assistant to join, the role will focus on supporting KS1 and KS2 years. To offer the best support for the SEN student body.

Salary: £83.50 - £90 per day (pre-tax, term time only)Contract: Permanent, Term-Time OnlyHours: Up to 40 hours per week; Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

We welcome applications from both experienced Classroom Assistants in special education and those from mainstream backgrounds who are passionate about supporting students with mainstream and with more complex SEND.

About the Classroom Assistant role

As a Classroom Assistant, you will connect directly with the wonderful Oxford pupils, helping them unlock their potential and thrive in their educational journey. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Organsing the KS1 learning materials and running engaging classroom activities.
  • Supporting the emotional and physical needs of students.
  • Guiding pupils with complex Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
