We are looking for a dedicated Classroom Assistant to join our team in Oxford, OX2. This is a fantastic opportunity to support KS2/Key Stage 2 students with SEN with their learning journey. The role is available on a fixed-term contract until August 2025, with the possibility of extension to permenant!

• Contract Type: Fixed term (until August 2025)
• Working Pattern: Part time
• Salary: 16,411 - 17,198 per year

What We're Looking For

We would like to appoint a Classroom Assistant (Learning Support Assistant Level 1 or 2) to work school hours from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Part-time positions are also available - please enquire for more details (must be able to do a full working day).

We are looking for someone who:

• Is passionate about helping children succeed in their learning
• Can work 1:1 with pupils with Special Educational Needs
• Uses their initiative and works well as part of a team
• Has strong literacy, numeracy, and IT skills (minimum Grade C/4 at GCSE in Maths & English)
• Wants to develop their skills and grow professionally
• Has a friendly, supportive nature and works well within a team
• Ideally has experience working in a school environment
