A Special Needs School in Oxford are looking for a number of Teaching Assistants to help support their pupils on a flexible, part-time basis. This is an ideal opportunity for University Students seeking valuable experience in the field of special education, psychology or graduates considering a future in teaching!

As a Teaching Assistant, your duties will include providing one-to-one support to children with special needs in both the classroom and extracurricular settings. You will help the students with their communication, their social skills and their confidence. The school caters for children with a range of needs - Autism, Developmental Delay, Speech & Language Difficulties as well as Social, Emotional and Mental Health Challenges. You will therefore need to be patient, non-judgemental, and proactive and bring a positive energy to the classroom!

The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about working with children, possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as patience and empathy. A positive, bubbly and a proactive attitude is also essential!
