About the role:

Looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a proactive education team in a Botley,?Oxford Primary School and play a key role in enriching the lives of KS1/KS2 (aged 5 - 11 years old) children affected by trauma.

You'll be working in our small primary school, with the classroom teacher, to provide positive educational, emotional and practical support to individual and small groups of children.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the KS1/KS2 class teachers to support student learning.
  • Support children with independence, confidence and social integration.
  • Help maintain a well-organised classroom experience.
  • Provide basic childcare, including first aid and hygiene support.
  • Supervise children and ensure their health and safety (this may involve physical intervention.)
  • Participate in team meetings, training, and classroom planning.
  • Prioritise child protection and safeguarding, following all charity policies and procedures.
