What We're Looking For

As a Principal Ecologist, you will bring:

  • A degree in ecology or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects and leading teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK wildlife legislation, planning policies, and ecological impact assessments (EcIA, EIA, HRA).
  • Expertise in UKHab, BNG strategies, and National Vegetation Classification (NVC).
  • Experience holding or working under protected species licences.
  • Excellent client liaison skills and a track record of developing business opportunities.
  • A valid driving licence.

Desirable skills include proficiency in GIS software, bat call analysis, and public inquiry participation.
