About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team at a prestigious hospital in Oxford. This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in mechanical engineering to lead and manage various critical maintenance and operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the Lead Technician for all mechanical maintenance activities within the hospital.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Manage medical gas systems and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly.
- Oversee F-GAS systems and ensure they are operating efficiently.
- Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and address reactive tasks promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions.
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering is a must.
- Extensive experience in mechanical maintenance and operations, preferably within a hospital or similar healthcare environment.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, medical gas, and F-GAS.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to lead a team effectively.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
