We are a managed service provider who have exclusively partnered up with an Aerospace company near Oxford to handle their entire recruitment process as they search for a Electronics Engineer to join them on a contract basis. They manufacture revolutionary technology supporting the ever-growing advanced air mobility AAM sector. You will have the opportunity to work in a fantastic work environment. It will initially begin as a 6-month contract with the opportunity to continue on an ongoing basis.

The successful Electronics Engineer will be involved in:

  • Design reviews
  • Inverter and converter hardware development
  • Defining and reviewing specifications
  • Simulation and evaluation of electrical and thermal circuit designs
  • Developing the hardware departments technologies, capabilities, facilities, and processes

The Electronics Engineer will ideally have the following skills:

  • Educated to degree level
  • Knowledge of analogue, digital, sensor and complex components
  • Experienced in electronic component selection and characterisation
  • Experience of circuit design, including schematic layout, PCB layout, component selection
  • Experience performing design analysis, including worst-case, tolerance, thermal, and stress
  • Any exposure to HV or high energy systems would be preferred but not essential
  • Ability to generate documentation to a high standard for both internal and external customers
  • Proficient with ECAD tools including Schematic, PCB, Modelling, Simulation
  • Knowledge of Design for Test (DFT) and Design for Manufacture (DFM)
