Are you a Building Physics Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? A leading sustainability consultancy, is seeking a Junior-Intermediate Building Physics Engineer to join their Oxfordshire office. About the Role:
As a key member of the Building Physics team, you will:
- Conduct dynamic thermal modelling and energy performance analysis using IES-VE.
- Carry out Part L, TM52, TM59, and overheating risk assessments.
- Perform heating & cooling load calculations, daylight analysis, and thermal comfort studies.
- Support Whole Life Carbon and Embodied Carbon assessments.
- Collaborate with architects and design teams to integrate low-energy, sustainable solutions into projects.
- Work across a variety of sectors, including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, and heritage projects.
About You:
- 1-3 years of experience in a Building Physics role (consultancy or related field).
- Proficiency in IES-VE or similar energy modelling software.
- Knowledge of Part L, TM52, TM54, TM59, SAP, and SBEM assessments.
- Passion for sustainability, energy efficiency, and low-carbon building design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
- Eager to learn, grow, and develop technical expertise within a supportive team.
