Are you a Building Physics Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? A leading sustainability consultancy, is seeking a Junior-Intermediate Building Physics Engineer to join their Oxfordshire office. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on energy-efficient, low-carbon buildings while developing your expertise in a supportive, growing team.

About the Role:
As a key member of the Building Physics team, you will:

  • Conduct dynamic thermal modelling and energy performance analysis using IES-VE.
  • Carry out Part L, TM52, TM59, and overheating risk assessments.
  • Perform heating & cooling load calculations, daylight analysis, and thermal comfort studies.
  • Support Whole Life Carbon and Embodied Carbon assessments.
  • Collaborate with architects and design teams to integrate low-energy, sustainable solutions into projects.
  • Work across a variety of sectors, including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, and heritage projects.

About You:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a Building Physics role (consultancy or related field).
  • Proficiency in IES-VE or similar energy modelling software.
  • Knowledge of Part L, TM52, TM54, TM59, SAP, and SBEM assessments.
  • Passion for sustainability, energy efficiency, and low-carbon building design.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
  • Eager to learn, grow, and develop technical expertise within a supportive team.
