Dock Leveler/ Loading Bay Engineer - Oxfordshire

Job Title: Dock Levellers/ Loading bay Engineer
Location:Oxfordshire
Salary:Up to 17 per hour (depending on experience)

Are you an experienced engineer with a background in dock leveller, loading bay and scissor lifts engineering? We are seeking a skilled and motivated engineer to join our growing team in or around Oxfordshire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain industrial dock levelers, scissor lifts, loading bay and associated equipment.
• Carry out site surveys and ensure work meets company and client specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to dock levelers, laoding bays, scissor lift and shutters during installation or maintenance.
• Provide excellent customer service while working on-site, ensuring all health and safety standards are met.
• Work closely with internal staff to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of dock levelers, scissor lifts, loading bays or similar hydraulic/ pneumatic engineering sectors.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving license.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Health and safety awareness, with the ability to work in line with company safety procedures.

Desirable:

• Experience working in the industrial or commercial sector.
• CSCS card (or equivalent).
• Previous experience in customer-facing roles.
