Conference and Events Officer

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a competent Conference and Events Officer to join our client’s friendly team. Reporting to the Conference and Events Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing all aspects of their internal and external events.

This dynamic position offers a fast-paced and engaging environment where you will connect with a wide array of people, whilst also attracting new corporate clients and managing events from start to finish.

If you are an experienced events coordinator with a knack for handling a busy workload and a keen eye for detail, we cannot wait to hear from you!

Conference and Events Officer Responsibilities

This role will involve overseeing all aspects of the organisation’s internal and external events, including:

  • Managing the events process from securing new business to delivery
  • Supporting the Conference and Domestic Manager in achieving the sales and events budget
  • Assisting with the preparation and distribution of marketing material
  • Producing contracts
  • Maintaining the conference booking system
  • Attending meetings

Conference and Events Officer Experience Essentials

To successful in this role, you will be an experienced administrator with excellent communication skills and an eye for detail. Experience within events, or within a higher education environment would be a bonus! You will be proficient in the use of MS Office and will be a great team-worker, as well as having a confident and friendly approach to working. You will have excellent organisational skills and be able to work calmly under pressure whilst juggling multiple conflicting priorities and a high workload.

Conference and Events Officer Location

This position is based in Central Oxford (OX1). There is no onsite parking. This will be a 100% office-based position, please ensure you are happy with this before applying.
