Are you a highly organized and creative individual with a passion for event planning? A prestigious university in Oxford is looking for an Events Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing multiple events throughout the year across two stunning venues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage multiple events simultaneously, ensuring smooth execution.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all enquiries, handling them promptly and professionally.

  • Create event proposals that fit client requirements and present them in a timely manner.

  • Oversee complex event planning and execution, ensuring seamless coordination.

  • Manage client site visits and upsell venue options where possible.

  • Develop and maintain event contracts, timelines, and logistics.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and key College personnel.

  • Ensure all event logistics are communicated clearly to all stakeholders.

  • Oversee events on the day, including problem-solving and welcoming guests.

  • Provide accurate feedback on client experiences and event outcomes.

  • Research new social media channels and trends to keep the College up to date.

General Tasks:

  • Support team members with bookings, catering details, menus, and rooming lists.

  • Assist with day-to-day ad hoc duties and requests.

  • Keep marketing and website up-to-date with offerings and news.

  • Liaise closely with other departments on upcoming events.

  • Maintain conference filing and administration.

  • Ensure GDPR compliance and adherence to Health and Safety guidelines.
