In this Finance Analyst role, you will:

  • Oversee approximately 300 grants, handling various complexities, ensuring correct expenditure, and reporting to funders.
  • Support financial reporting by managing monthly forecasting and research reports, update and maintain forecasting tools, and resolve any issues.
  • Assist with audits by working with the Finance Manager to provide necessary documentation and clarifications for audit activities.
  • Update and rectify forecasting tools, integrating data accurately and troubleshooting discrepancies.
  • Address project-related queries, offering detailed and prompt support.

Based in Oxfordshire, this role requires full office presence during the initial training period but offers hybrid working once you are settled into the position, requiring you to go into the office three days per week. The successful candidate will benefit from an attractive package, including 30 days of annual leave (excluding bank holidays) and a competitive pension contribution exceeding 15%.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Ideally be educated to degree level and have started a finance related qualification such as AAT, ACCA or CIMA.
  • Have experience working in a finance team, ideally in an analytical and rounded role.
  • Be proactive, detail-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Have advanced proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables and formulas), with a keen eye for detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
